If you know other people who have used this person in the past, ask them how they were able to come up with what they were asking for and how quickly they were able to complete the project. You'll want to make sure that you get referrals from people who have actually used the demolishers in Sydney before because independent contractors are not regulated by local building codes and are often not subject to any sort of oversight or regulation.
